This is a really common problem, trying to replace tin foil for covering a dish in the oven. Firstly, if you already have tin foil - you can reuse it. You can lightly scrub it with warm, soapy water and reuse it again! Once it get's too flimsy to work with, you can recycle it (only if it's 100% clean).
So if you already have tin foil, you might as well use it, and reuse it! Once you run out of tin foil, you can flip an oven-safe bowl upside down and use that to cover your dish in the oven.
If you need to cover a baking sheet in the oven, you can flip another baking sheet over and use that to cover your baking sheet. The same goes with muffin tins!
